Like most community groups, the Fryerstown School relies on volunteers to carry out a number of important activities, including food preparation and serving at occasional events, service of alcohol and general building, maintenance and landscape gardening skills.  If you are interested in being involved with this unique venue and community, we’d love to hear from you.

Other ways you can support the Fryerstown School include occasional fundraising activities.  Currently we are holding a PICK YOUR SEAT IN PUBLIC campaign.  Read more about it by clicking the link below.

Pick your seat in public  This campaign is now closed – thank you to all who participated.

Leaving a bequest to the Fryerstown Community Reserve means that you have the use of your funds or property during your lifetime, and leave part or all of your money or property to us after your death. You may choose to leave a particular asset. a specified sum of money, or you can leave a percentage of your total estate, or a percentage of the residue of your estate, which means that you can ensure family and friends are provided for as well as benefiting the Fryerstown School. You may choose to leave your bequest freely – “no strings attached” – so that the we can apply the money to the area of most need. It is also possible to leave a bequest with a specification that it is used for a particular purpose – for example, to establish a program for rural students.  Regardless of the method you choose, the Fryerstown Community Reserve is very grateful for any support you can provide.  If you are considering leaving a bequest, we would appreciate you making contact beforehand to discuss your plans.

Your solicitor can create a Will for you or update your existing Will with a codicil to include a gift to the Fryerstown Community Reserve with the appropriate wording.   If you don’t have a solicitor, the Law Council of Australia website can provide suitable direction.

You don’t have to inform us if you leave a bequest, but notifying us of your plans gives the Fryerstown Community Reserve the opportunity to offer our thanks and invite you to visit our services.
